Old Arizona kind of rocks. This multi-purpose venue is nestled at the end of Eat Street and plays hosts to events, movies, performing arts, weddings and then some.
I had visited the venue last summer for the brilliant Burger Night celebration, however, with so many people around I didn’t have a chance to casually stroll the building to snap photos. A couple weekends ago I got my opportunity when I helped out a friend for a photo shoot inside Old Arizona.
Each room of the building is meticulously and creatively decorated. I was particularly impressed with the Chocolate Lounge near the front of the building. It was cozy and welcoming, ideal place to kick-up your heels and light a cigar. Check out some of my shots of the Chocolate Lounge.
Old Arizona is one of those enigmas of Minneapolitan nightlife — who goes there? What do they sell? We agree that Burger Night was rockin’ as hell, though!
